As the Director of Youth Media Education, Jill developed, managed, and expanded BRIC's youth media education programs to include 30 in-school and after-school residencies, serving over 2000 students annually. Working with teaching artists and classroom teachers, Jill co-designed innovative, standards-aligned media arts curricula for K-12 students. She partnered with the NYC DOE to implement grant-funded programs in partner schools. She created an internship program for local teenagers that evolved into the BRIC Youth Media Fellowship program and the creation of Brooklyn’s first-ever youth media festival, Concrete Stories. She organized family days, interactive installations, and student exhibitions at BRIC’s state-of-the-art venue. Other partnerships included The Film Society at Lincoln Center, NYC DOE Digital Ready, the New York City Council, and the Department of Cultural Affairs.
