WE RISE LA

Funded by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, WE RISE is an annual immersive event that brings together hundreds of community partners, schools, performers, academics, clinicians, activists, and artists. In 2019, Jill was selected to serve as the Director of Education and helped to produce the 10-day event in downtown Los Angeles. In addition to working with the curatorial team to design the education programming, Jill oversaw school and community partnerships, workshop design, and all events related to youth education. The goal of WE RISE is to use art, performance, and hands-on workshops to engage the public in mental health awareness.
